Kenneth A Cossingham, Esq
Kenneth A Cossingham, Esq has been practicing law in the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire for over 30 years. He earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1983, and was admitted as a member of the Massachusetts bar in 1983 and as a member of the New Hampshire bar in 1984. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1978. Ken has argued cases before both the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
Ken practiced as an associate attorney in an Andover firm from 1983 to 1988, and founded Cossingham Law Office, PC (hereinafter CLO) in 1988. He has been
principal of CLO since that time.
CLO has consistently practiced in the areas of residential real estate, commercial real estate, Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning, Corporations and LLCs, business law, business transactions and business disputes. CLO also has attorneys who practice family law, divorce, custody, landlord tenant and short sales. CLO employs four attorneys, all of whom are licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. CLO’s staff also includes a title examiner, two paralegals, and legal assistants.
Karen T. Guthrie, Esq. – Of Counsel
Karen T. Guthrie, Esq. has practiced law in Massachusetts for 20 years. She earned her law degree from New England School of Law (J.D. ’95) and her undergraduate degree from Cornell University (B.A. ’88). Attorney Guthrie has been a successful civil litigator since 1995 in contract, business, personal injury, real estate and family law matters. An experienced trial attorney, she has represented individuals, corporations and insurers as plaintiffs and defendants in the District, Superior, and Probate Courts throughout the state. She also has experience representing buyers, lenders and sellers in residential real estate transactions. In addition, Attorney Guthrie has had extensive mediation and arbitration training and experience in a wide range of practice areas. She is currently on the neutral panels of Massachusetts Dispute Resolution Services and New England Dispute Resolution Services in Boston, MA. She also volunteers as a mediator and conciliator for Lowell District Court. Since 2012, she has been a faculty member for MCLE - Deposition Practice in Boston, MA
